A Disney Affair

Aug 18,2008 Walking along the entrance of Disneyland HongKong brought back old childhood memories of my favorite cartoons. Cinderella with her glass slippers, Belle with her big yellow ballgown, Arial with her collections of human things…the sweet memories of innocence..of funny “when i was young, i thought” moments…I felt how people said Disneyland makes you happier! It was indeed a happy place!

I’m seriously regretting how I wasn’t able to see my favorite Disney character…though I like the princesses but I love Donald Duck the most. He has a really cute butt and he’s not the know-it-all one, I fancy he’s the klutz of the group but nevertheless the cutest anyway.

I often thought that I have been behind the times because I visited Disneyland just recently. Maybe I might older, but I still get excited seeing the good old cartoon movies. We queued for the shows (Golden Mickey, Lion King and 4D) so it ate up the time for the other rides.

No worries, I was already contented buying the mickey ice cream for a cheaper price! (buy 1get 1 because of a tourist voucher!) It cooled me down on this hot hot day!

I bought some butter cookies with a mickey mouse logo for my roommates.

Maybe I’ll get to visit another Disneyland some day…and meet Donald Duck!!

Many years ago, Disneyland sold Donald Duck Fudge that was the best fudge I had ever tasted. It was taken off the market. I think it might have been replaced with Mickey Mouse fudge, but the taste was not the same. In asking around the park, no one seemed to be able to tell me why. I was wondering if you knew.

Nope, I wasn’t able to see that..
