Chocolate and Rainy Days

rainy days and mondays always let me down….

The weather lately has been nothing but depressing. The clouds are heavily dark, the rain pours like gods in lamentation, and the damp surroundings has been less conducive to my daily walks. The weather pulls down my mood with me as it has its own reasons to feel that way, as I struggle to keep sane in my everydays. Yes, it is a struggle to live during rainy days as unpleasant memories come to haunt me and I find more time to think about things that make me go sentimental, and think even more. I’ve been missing alot of stuff, I’ve been longing for someone, and somehow when it was summer, the sunshine didn’t make me feel this way. I feel no warmth, no joy, and no hope.

But there’s always hot chocolate. As I await to embrace the sunny weather and more optimistic thoughts to come, my solace would be my hot chocolate. Sipping from my mug, the hot chocolate would infuse me with warmth, and more happy thoughts. The warm, sweet, and soothing drink is my shelter from the depressing weather, as it comforts and soothes my soul. Thank God, for my hot chocolate, that I can never be lonely again.
