Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts

When Matthew Fox guested on Oprah’s show about his moving to Hawaii to tape Lost, I could not help but wish I lived in Hawaii - the exotic landscapes, marvelous beaches, and the laid back lifestyle. But when Oprah announced to the audience that everyone was to be given freebies of Chocolate-covered macadamia nuts, I suddenly wished I was on that studio on that exact date and place. Drat! I just love these nutty wonders.

As for the history of the Macadamia nut, it is actually considered something precious as gold, for they are rich in flavor and in oil. Contrary to popular opinion, the macadamia nut was actually first discovered in Australia in 1857. Oh well, right now it is one of the top delicacies of Hawaii.

Add that up with chocolate coatings - milk chocolate, white chocolate…and others. Goodness. How rich can a dessert be? Simply exquisite.
