Daim Delight
A unique treat in an unexpected place….one surprisingly good chocolate offered at IKEA is a brand called Daim.
According to Wiki, “The Daim bar (originally known as Dajm in the original Swedish, and Dime in the UK and Ireland) is a crunchy butter almond bar covered in milk chocolate that originated in Sweden in 1953, produced by the Swedish company Marabou.”

My friend H had been raving about this Daim Cake she was able to try before. Since she’s a nut fan, I was not surprised that this cake was nutty (almonds). With a thin later of sponge cake in between, it tries to equalize the much sugar high you can get from the chocolate itself. This might be too sweet for some so one slice is enough. It says that it’s made of butter but I recall it to taste like caramel.
They actually offer also Daim candy bars as well.
