I often wonder why other ice creams are so expensive compared to eating just ordinary ones available in supermarkets. I heard that Haagen Daz was one of the most expensive ones. I never got to taste it until last year (I’m such a late bloomer). I even binge in that ice cream in one of the buffet meals in Beijing (the ice cream made it worth it!)
My favorite flavor is the Macadamia Brittle…I wasn’t impress by their chocolate flavor line. Maybe I’ll be trying other flavors for comparison.
Just recently, we visited the Haagen Daz cafe here in Singapore and we were able to try two yummy desserts. But of course, they only put a bit of decor and small bits of other dessert. Not much difference, I think they should try to experiment on mixing their ice cream with other desserts from around the globe to make it more exciting.
I also joined a contest they are recently promoting. Naming a new dessert, the most imaginative or something will win 2 trips to Paris. Don’t know their criteria though…well..if I win…if I win…I hope I do!
