Ben & Jerry’s
The place where you’ll feel indulgent is the hangout place of Ben & Jerry’s. I wasn’t aware of this famous ice cream from the States before I came here in Singapore. I passed by one of their stores and it never failed to attract people of all ages (most especially young ones). Funky design, colorful atmosphere and most of all, interesting flavors, it never ceases to please me.
Here in Singapore, my favorite branch is in Dempsey Hill. It has the feel of lounge-y laid back music ranch bar where sometimes there’s an acoustic singer serenading the crowd. It reminds me of Friend’s Central Perk!
I remember having a bet with a friend. We were once eating a three scope waffle treat choosing New York Super Fudge Chunk, Strawberry Cheesecake and Chunky Monkey. I was very keen on things I put in my mouth so I saw a white chocolate piece inside the New York Super Fudge Chunk but they didn’t believe there’s white chocolate inside. Well, I won obviously! Got myself a free Ben & Jerry’s of my choice!

My Birthday cake
My friends surprised me on my birthday. I’m a party pooper when it comes to surprises…I can really spoil a surprise because of my erratic decisions. Guess I can be unpredictable. They never told me how they got to place a flower on my table and try to make me believe I was to meet someone (admirer) for dinner. Well, I just said to them I’ll meet them as they pretend to say they were not the behind the scheme. But I managed to squeeze it out from them haha!
We had dinner inside a cable car while the waiters serve our full course meal after every round the cable car goes. The last part, there was a really cute cake for my birthday!
This Oreo cheesecake is surprisingly dee-li-cious (quote quote my friend Soph says). The big strawberry is too beautiful to eat.
Though I was a bit sad aging another year, but this wonderful surprise became icing on my cake as I celebrate the day of my birth.
